We would hate to see you do this, but you could grind up the pendant and use sequencing technology to verify that the DNA is indeed yours. Given how easily verifiable the authenticity of the DNA in the pendant is, we'd have to be stupid to take the risk of putting a random piece of DNA in the pendant.

Not at all! We provide a simple cheek swab kit with clear instructions. It takes less than 2 minutes to collect your sample, and everything needed for secure shipping is included.

No, we only accept cheek swabs. We've tried other sample types, but they don't work as well - success rates with hair are only 80-90% while cheek swabs are 100% successful, and we don't want to risk delaying your gift by asking for another sample.

You will receive a sampling kit, including a prepaid shipping label, in 2-3 business days after you place your order. From the moment we receive your sample, it typically takes 3-5 business days for your custom pendant to be created and shipped to you.

You can select different shipping addresses for the sampling kit and necklace delivery on our checkout page. For example, you could use your work address for the sample kit so you can swab your cheek and send it to us without your wife knowing what you're up to. If you can't do that, you can use the sampling kit's shipment tracking number to make sure you grab the package at your home before your wife can!

Each pendant comes with an 18" 14K yellow gold plated dainty yet strong cable chain with a 2" extender. The chain is hypoallergenic and free of nickel, lead, and cadmium.

Absolutely. We only use your DNA sample to create your pendant, and it's destroyed after the process. We never sequence or analyze your DNA, and no genetic information is ever stored or shared. We're strictly in the jewelry business.
